40 Million Goal: Bohai's First 100-Billion-Cubic-Meter Gas Field Achieves New Production Milestone!

On November 25, Well C10H at the CEPA platform of the Bozhong 19-6 condensate gas field achieved a daily gas production of 200,000 cubic meters, setting a new single-well production record for the field. Including this well, gas wells with a daily output exceeding 100,000 cubic meters now account for over 30% of the total development wells in the gas field.
As the first gas field in the Bohai Sea region with proven reserves exceeding one trillion cubic meters, the Bozhong 19-6 condensate gas field has achieved cumulative natural gas production surpassing two billion cubic meters.

The Bozhong 19-6 condensate gas field has cumulative proven geological reserves of natural gas exceeding 200 billion cubic meters. The sustained increase in the field’s production is attributed to a scientific development philosophy, an efficient collaborative framework, and lean production practices.
Tianjin Branch of the Limited Company adheres to the development philosophy of "overall planning, phased implementation, and pilot testing first," and adopts the development model of "simultaneous oil and gas development with coordinated evaluation and production."

Developing ultra-large gas fields and rapidly converting reserves into production relies heavily on efficient collaboration. To overcome the bottleneck of "drilling outpacing supporting facilities" — a mismatch between drilling and production operations — the Bohai West Operating Company under Tianjin Branch of the Limited Company has established a full-process coordination mechanism. By utilizing 3D models of Christmas trees, approximately 85% of manifold components were prefabricated in factories ahead of schedule. A three-tier management and control system was implemented to ensure effective integration between engineering operations and gas well production. A three-dimensional coordination mechanism was employed to advance wellsite construction. Adhering to the "one-well-one-policy" approach, production plans were dynamically optimized.
Since the gas field commenced production, it has maintained a 100% achievement rate for putting wells into production immediately upon completion, establishing a replicable standardized collaborative operation system.

The Bozhong 19-6 condensate gas field adopts an oil and gas cluster production mode featuring one central hub platform coordinating multiple satellite platforms. The central hub enables centralized monitoring and remote operation of all platforms. Following the establishment of a full-scope control system, technicians, guided by lean management principles, developed an automatic well-switching metering system to achieve real-time production data acquisition and intelligent analysis. This continuously accelerates the construction of an intelligent gas field characterized by "cross-platform coordination and precise regulation."
To address seasonal peak-shifting demands, the gas field employs an intelligent supply guarantee model of "cyclic gas injection and summer injection-winter production." During the summer low-demand period, part of the produced natural gas is processed into dry gas and reinjected into the formation via high-pressure injection platforms after compression. This approach reduces gas flaring and enhances reserve utilization efficiency. During the winter high-demand period, the platforms directly extract high-pressure gas from the "underground gas storage." This model not only improves condensate oil recovery but also further enhances the timeliness of supply response during winter.
Desanding of produced condensate in Gas field
The extraction of oil and natural gas cannot be achieved without desanders.

We provide complete skid-mounted solutions and also offer third-party equipment retrofitting and after-sales services. Holding multiple proprietary patents and operating under a DNV-GL certified ISO-9001, ISO-14001, and ISO-45001 management system, we deliver optimized process solutions, precise product design, strict adherence to engineering specifications, and ongoing operational support.
Cyclonic well stream crude desander with ceramic liners
Our high-efficiency cyclone desanders, renowned for their exceptional 98% separation rate, have earned recognition from international energy leaders. Constructed with advanced wear-resistant ceramics, these units achieve 98% removal of particles as fine as 0.5 microns in gas streams. This capability enables the reinjection of produced gas for miscible flooding in low-permeability reservoirs, a key solution for enhancing oil recovery in challenging formations. Alternatively, they can treat produced water, removing 98% of particles larger than 2 microns for direct reinjection, thereby boosting water-flood efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.
High Efficiency Ultra-Fine Particle Desander
Our new product——The High Efficiency Ultra-Fine Particle Desander is a liquid-solid separation device that utilizes an efficient centrifugal principle to separate suspended impurities—such as solids in produced water, seawater, condensate, fine particles in high-viscosity liquids, and catalyst powder in reactors—from fluids (liquids, gases, or gas-liquid mixtures). It effectively removes solid particles with sizes down to 2 microns (at 98% efficiency) or smaller.
The High Efficiency Ultra-Fine Particle Desander delivers high sand removal efficiency, capable of removing solid particles down to 2 microns. The equipment features a compact footprint, requires no external power or chemical additives, and has a service life of approximately 20 years. It offers online sand discharge capability without the need for production shutdown.
Proven in major global fields operated by CNOOC, CNPC, Petronas, and others across Southeast Asia, SAGA desanders are deployed on wellhead and production platforms. They provide reliable solids removal from gas, well fluids, and condensate, and are critical for seawater purification, production stream protection, and water injection/flooding programs.
Beyond desanders, SAGA offers a portfolio of acclaimed separation technologies. Our product line includes membrane systems for natural gas CO₂ removal, deoiling hydrocyclones, high-performance compact flotation units (CFUs), and multi-chamber hydrocyclones, delivering comprehensive solutions for the industry's toughest challenges.
