The Kenli 10-2 oilfield is located in the southern Bohai Sea about 245 km from Tianjin, with an average water depth of around 20 meters. It is the largest lithological oilfield ever discovered offshore China, with proven geological crude oil reserves exceeding 100 million tons. The Phase I project is planned to begin production within this year, which will support the Bohai Oilfield’s annual production target of 40 million tons of oil and gas, while further strengthening energy supply capacity for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the Bohai Rim area.
